Carine Clark Will Share Advice on Living Fearlessly at Women in Business Conference

SALT LAKE CITY – February 9, 2015 – Women working in Utah’s business climate face tough challenges. Utah was ranked the worst state for women in a recent report by Wall Street 24/7, a reputation that female business leaders in the state, like Carine Clark, want to break.

“Opportunity abounds,” said Carine Clark, president and CEO of MaritzCX. “Women can’t let fear hold them back from reaching for their goals. Utah is a great place to live and should celebrate women in business. We need to continually support and encourage one another to find more ways to succeed.”

Clark will be the lunch keynote speaker at the Women in Business Conference February 27 – 28 at the Provo Marriott Hotel and Conference Center. The event is open to all women looking for career advice, motivation and opportunities to expand their professional networks.

Clark describes herself as a peaceful warrior. As CEO and President of MaritzCX (formerly Allegiance Software) she is one of the few female technology CEOs in Utah. Clark leads by example. She openly shares the story of her personal battle with cancer, demonstrating the power of not allowing fear to determine her fate. She is a strong advocate for women, technology, and STEM education in Utah, urging people to move toward disruption and do “hard things,” which she describes as positive gifts that can transform life.
