The most significant developments of 2014, either technological or methodological, included: self-service, the rise of mobile, real-time everything and getting to grips with big data. In response to real-time technology, Nigel Cover, VP of Business Services Europe at MaritzCX, said, “There is a growing use of real-time technology with personal customer data at the core.
